My daughter Mackenzie has been after me to get her a chair in her room, and then I remembered that I had this one sitting in our storage room. This chair belonged to my parents and was part of their kitchen set. When they moved and my mom gave the set away, she gave this one to me figuring I could do something with it. So I finally pulled it out and got to work!
I used the same creamy white paint that I painted her armoire with last year.
Did a little glazing and distressing...
Added a pretty throw that I found in Home Goods
And there you have it a new chair for her room. I had it finished by the time she came home from school. She's very happy!! Just doing a little more tweaking in here and hopefully will have a post up of the whole room later on in the week.

Great job on the chair! I really like that throw too. How old is your daughter? I have a 10yo daughter that loves anything with peace signs too :)
Tks for stopping by.
Wow - its amazing what a difference a paint job can make. It turned that chair "from drab to fab!" Well done!
Lookin' good Martina!
Enjoy your day,
Gail
