Share Your Style #11

Hey there friends...
I can't believe it's time for another
Share Your Style...boy these weeks have been going by fast!!
~~~
This weeks host is Barbara from
Let's get this party started!
Hi everyone and welcome back to another fabulous
Share Your Style link party!
I am Barbara from the blog 21 Rosemary Lane, and I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be your party host this week.
Thank you all so much for joining us again.
Remember when you link up to SYS you are seen on eight blogs!
Wow, we are almost to the beautiful month of May and that means kicking it off with Cinco de Mayo celebrations!
 So this week I shared with you 3 of my absolute favorite Mexican inspired entrees we enjoy here at 21 Rosemary Lane.
Hope you give one or all a try!
 OK, I know you probably hear all the time how difficult it is for a party host to select features, well you know what, it really is a tough job! There was an amazing amount of creativity linked up to last week's party. So without further ado, here are just a few of the links that really caught my eye.
First up is this gorgeous spring bedroom makeover by Shirley of Housepitality Designs. Shirley mixes beautiful soft blues with peach for a lighter brighter warm weather appeal. (And check out that ah-mazing tray ceiling with the stunning chandy!)
Next is an updated dining room from the super adorable blog Sweet 'n Sour Gumballs. I love the elegant simplicity of Amy's room with its lovely farm table and painted Craig's List hutch!
Melissa from Dancing Dog Cabin shared her recipe for peanut butter doggie treats. These must be yummy, just look at the face of longing on her pretty little pooch Dolly. (too cute)
After 2 attempts at trying to find the perfect chair for her mother, or Nana as known to her grandchildren, Mary Beth's Place finally found this pretty French chair and beautifully refurbished it. The third time really is a charm!
And finally since this weekend is the Kentucky Derby, why not whip up a batch of non-alcoholic Mint Juleps for the entire gang. This incredibly refreshing looking drink is from Carrie over at the blog Curly Craft Mom.
A new French Country Lamp
 Hi there friends...
 A few weeks ago my mom asked me to go to Country Curtains with her to look for new curtains for her bedroom.
I got my love for decorating from my mom and any time we go shopping together we always come home with more then we went out for!
~~~
 I spotted this pretty lamp right away...
 Love the color and love how the shade is painted to match the lamp!
 Now like I said...we were only going there for new curtains for my mom ;-)
I called my mom over to see it and she loved it too!
She not only bought this pretty new lamp for me but she bought one for herself too...
looks like she needed a new lamp for her
bedroom too lol!

 Remember the Before...
 The After....much prettier!!
 Thanks mom I love my new lamp!!
Always love going shopping with you!
xoxo
~~~
You'll have to stop back over so I can show you the changes she made in her bedroom.
Have a great week!
 Hi Everyone, it's Debra from Common Ground
I'm your host this week and I'm so happy you're here
 to join in for the fun and inspiration!
Remember, when you link up on one blog,
you are seen on Eight!
I've been busy unpacking boxes from storage this last few weeks. After moving last November, we're still working to get all the boxes over to our house and unloaded. I've been finding a few Small Treasures I'd almost forgotten, and we were able to get our outdoor furniture and goodies in place. I'll be putting together my Potting Bench soon, hopefully. I'd love you to come by Common Ground for a visit!
There are so many great inspirational projects and fresh fun decor going on this time of year. Your Spring posts are just brimming with great ideas and beautiful spaces.
Here are a few I loved from last week.
Creating a new Gallery Wall
Hi there friends...
I can't believe it's taken me so long to get pictures of the new gallery wall I created in our upstairs hallway.
I did this back in December!!
I had this tapestry hanging here since we moved in 12 years ago...it was DEFINITELY time for a change!!
I wasn't even that crazy about it...I just needed something to hang here so up it went!
I LOVE the After!!
Everything here came from either the flea market or the antique store.
Love my new gallery wall!
~~~
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great week!
We had 80 degrees on Saturday and today is cold and rainy:-(

My $5 ferns!

 Hi there friends...
Today's post is going to be a quick one...I just wanted to share with you the pretty ferns I bought in Walmart for $5 each!!
 Look how full and healthy they are!
I never buy plants at Walmart...
I usually pay more then double that when I buy them in the nursery!
Here's the other one...I bought these about 2 weeks ago and they're still as healthy as the day I bought them!
 Loving my $5 ferns!
Have a great weekend!!

Share Your Style #9

Hi there friends...
Welcome to another Share Your Style!
This weeks host is my friend Sherry from
~~~
Welcome to the  Share Your Style  party!
Hi everyone!  I am Sherry and I write the blog  No Minimalist Here.   It's so exciting to be hosting this week and I truly appreciate you visiting.
~~~

My husband and I bought a house nine months ago and I have been busy trying to make it our home.  Our most recent project was removing a wall and adding new wood floors.  Decorating the new dining room is what we are working on now.   I hope you will drop by and see our progress so far.

Features from last weeks party.
It's always hard to choose just a few features each week because ya'll are such a talented bunch.  I hope you enjoy my selections from last week.

Rita at May Days shared her beautiful blue and white Spring tablescape.  Did you notice the creative use of fence pickets?

Liz and her husband built this wonderful pergola and landscaped their yard beautifully.  Visit Home To Cottage to see more.

I love Beignets and whenever we visit New Orleans Café de Monde is my first stop for these little pastries.  The Painted Apron shared this fabulous recipe at last week's party.

I admit I have potting shed envy every time I visit Mary at Home Is Where The Boat Is.   How beautiful is this Spring vignette?

If you were featured this week please grab our Feature Button.

I look forward to seeing what you share this week and I hope you will visit me at my blog No Minimalist Here , Instagram  and  Pinterest.

My new/old pastoral oil painting

 Hi there friends...
Happy Monday...I hope you all had a nice weekend!
We are FINALLY having Spring temps here!
It was 75 yesterday so I was outside most of the day doing some Spring clean up...love working in the yard!
~~~
Last week when I showed you some of the shuffling that has been going on at my house...I showed how I moved the Currier & Ives picture that was hanging in our foyer to it's new spot here
~~~
Have no fear...I already had a new painting to put in it's spot!
I bought this pretty pastoral on ebay.

 I loved the old frame that came with it...but it was beyond damaged so I took it to Hobby Lobby and had them frame it for me.
I was to impatient to wait 2 weeks for a custom frame to have the painting fit perfectly so I picked an opened frame they already had and they added a double matte to it. The lighter one is a cloth matte which I love!
It was signed and dated by the painter on the back.

~~~
On Saturday my mom and I and my oldest daughter Mackenzie went into the city to see the Spring Spectacular at Radio City...it was FABULOUS!!  Derek Hough was amazing!
If your in or near the city before May 3rd I highly recommend getting tickets to see it!
Mackenzie was thrilled she was able to get a picture with one of the Rockettes...her dream is to dance on that stage one day!
Have a SPECTACULAR week!!
