Just a little more "Falling" around!

 Hi there friends...
I wanted to give you guys a little look around at a few more Fall touches I made around the house...so come on in!!
I filled my harvest basket with this cone type plant from the nursery along with some raffia & baby boo's.

 A mum fills my metal plant stand near my front door and I just tucked some burlap and raffia in along with it.
Kept the dining room simple...
This pumpkin weighs a ton!!
 On the table in my breakfast room I used a dough bowl and filled it with pumpkins and gourds.
 Instead of using a runner I placed this pretty rooster towel that I found in Home Goods under it.
 Looking into the family room.

 I hope your all enjoying the Fall season as much as I am!
Have a great week!

~Our Fall Mantel~

 Hi there friends...
Last year I went with a more simple look when I added Fall touches to our mantel...this year I decided to do a little more.
It's just enough to Fallify the whole room!
I made pumpkin topiaries with pumpkins I bought in Hobby Lobby and added a few Fall leaves at the bottom.
Then I placed them on my concrete candle holders.
 The pumpkin garland I had for a few years now and decided to bring it back out again.
I like how it filled in the rest of the mantel...this adds just enough Fall to our family room...nothing else is needed...except maybe a mum and a few baby boo's ;-)
Every time I look at my mantel I still say why did I wait so long to paint it!!
Do you change your mantel with the seasons?
Have a wonderful weekend!

Fall Porch 2014

Welcome...
 come on up and stay awhile.

This year the decor around the front door has an asymmetrical look using grapevines...cornstalks...and plenty of bright orange pumpkins!
I didn't have the heart to replace my ferns with mums when they still look so good...
so I simply poked a few smaller pumpkins and gourds in between the greenery.

I love filling the lantern with baby boo pumpkins.

Happy Fall!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Here's a little peek of what you'll see as you enter on in...

Victoria's Room...Then & Now

 Hi there friends...
I can't believe it took me so long to post this makeover...We worked on this way back in July!!
~~~
Victoria asked if we could make some changes in her room over the summer...how could I say no...I LOVE change!
~~~
Let's have a look...

The canvas with her name on it I picked up at the Country Living Fair back in June.
~~~
 We kept the wall color (it's her favorite color) that made my job much easier!
Here's a BEFORE with her trundle bed...
 Now the AFTER with the pretty cane headboard I found at the indoor flea market...
She wanted a more "grown up" room.
She's 8 going on 16!! She tries to keep up with her teenage sister and brother!
 Sorry this is the only before photo I could find of the headboard before I painted it in AS Old White.
I ordered this cute pom pom pillow from Pottery Barn.
 Her NUMBER ONE request was pom poms...so pom poms she got!
~~~
I bought the colorful paper ones in Hobby Lobby along with the cute polka dot ribbon to hang them and then her Big Sis put them together for us...for the life of me I can't figure out how to open those things up!
  One more BEFORE...
 And AFTER...
 She's so happy with her new room and all the
"big girl" touches that were added!
I'm still working on one more piece for the other side of her room so stay tuned!

A simple FALL wreath

 Hi there friends...hope you all had a nice weekend!
The weather was absolutely beautiful here in NY today...mid 70's and sunny!
~~~
The perfect weather for Fall decorating.
I started by making a simple Fall wreath for our front door.
I picked up this oval grapevine wreath in Hobby Lobby last week along with a few pumpkin picks...I had plenty of burlap ribbon left over from last year.
I wanted to keep it simple and I like how this wreath ties in with the grapevine garland I have around the door.
Tomorrow I'll go out and buy some corn stalks for the columns and a few pumpkins to finish up the front stoop!
Have a great week!
Opinions Needed!!!
 Hi there friends I need your help!
~~~
We gave Mackenzie's room a complete makeover over a year ago.
Everything thing from the walls to the furniture got a coat of paint...except the bed!!
~~~
Leaving the headboard pine is making the room feel "OFF" to me!
That's were I need your input.
 I'm getting ready to paint the bed but I'm not sure if I should go with black or white?!?
 Her armoire and nightstand are black and her dresser is white.
 What color would you paint the bed??
Inputs needed pleeeease!
