A Little Paint Changes Everything

This is a little collage I have in my foyer that I did a little tweaking to. I love how a little paint changes the look of something. See the scroll on top of the middle picture, it just got a little face lift!

Notice how it blends in with the color of the frames. Not for long!

And here it is now much better. I had everything I needed on hand. The paint color is Ben. Moore kennebunkport green. After it dried I sanded over all the edges and across some of the details to give it that worn look, I then took my mocha glaze from valspar and brushed it over the whole thing adding more in all the grooves.

                                                            Here is a closer look.

Sorry for the glare I took this early in the morning when the sun is in the front our house.

I'm joining Sherry at http://thecharmofhome.blogspot.com for Home Sweet Home Party

Very pretty! You're lucky to have the sun! It's rainy and dreary here!

That is wonderful! I love that color of green. I think I might paint something that color this summer. Maybe our outdoor swing. That looks great with your pictures too. Thanks so much for linking up!

Martina, that is such a pretty color. I need to look at that in person at the paint store.
