~Black & White ~

The more I see everyone using black and white accessories the more I love it, and knew that was what I was going to use when we redid our powder room last year. When we first moved into our house I had this room wallpapered. I liked it for a while but it was time for a change. As you may know by now I love the look of beadboard, so that's what we put up in here after the paper came down. The paint color I used is White Oaks by Ben. Moore. We also replaced the pedestal sink with a cabinet and changed the light fixture and faucet to brushed nickel. Sorry there's no before pictures, this was done "BB" (before blogging).

                               Added the b/w gingham ribbon.
Found this metal container in Home Goods and spray painted it black and added greenery.
                                           Cute little tray.
                                      New sink and cabinet
                                   This soap smells so good!
Cute pail from Home Goods and using it for trash.
Added the zebra print towels for a little whimsy.

I love the fresh clean cottage look of this bathroom now. And as always I look forward to hearing from you and reading your comments! Have a great week, Martina

Love the beadboard! And although I love the look of a pedestal sink, they just aren't practical in terms of storage. I think it was smart to replace it!

Looks beautiful!
