Family Room Reveal

Hi there friends...hope you all had a super weekend!!
~~~
As you know from the peek I gave you last week our new PB sectional arrived and the majority of my tweaking is done so I can finally share our family rooms new look!!
We love the way it turned out!
So happy I decided to paint our mantel Chateau Grey...
it changed the whole look of this room...much more country french don't you agree.
Mantel BEFORE...
 Sorry this was the best photo I could find for a BEFORE of the room...Christmas 2013
Now for the AFTER...
The sofas fabric is washed linen and the color is Seagrass...it's measurement is 140x74.
We added an extra piece so we have plenty of room to stretch out when we watch a movie as a family.
I also repainted the coffee table and tv console in Versailles...AS chalk paint. I'm still on the lookout for a new coffee table.
I used my round table in this corner and added a burlap tablecloth to it along with the pretty topper Linda made for me.
I have to admit...I was a little nervous with my decision of buying a sectional...but
after seeing it in place I know it was the perfect choice for this space...we love it!!
~Country Living Fair~
 Hi there friends...
This weekend the Country Living Fair was held in the beautiful historic area of Rhinebeck NY which is about an hour north from me.
This was my first time going...I made the trip on Friday morning and stayed till it closed!!
~~~
WARNING:
 This is a picture heavy post so you won't hear much from me...so grab yourself a drink and get comfy... enjoy the photos!

 There was chippy goodness everywhere!!

 I was VERY tempted to bring this large demijohn home with me...the price was very reasonable at $160...
I've seen this size on ebay for well over $300!!

 Wish I spent more time at this next booth...
 But the little Miss was getting hungry! She was such a good sport :-)
She had fun with these magnetic letters.

Thanks for coming along with me...
what a great day!!
Can't wait to show you the goodies that came home with me!

A sneak peek...& new pillows

Hey there friends...
I was thrilled when Pottery Barn called me last week and told me they could deliver my sofa on Saturday YAY!! I'm still tweaking a few things in here so today your only getting a little peek.
~~~
Another thing I couldn't wait to share with you are my new pillow covers that were made for me by Linda...she's Kristen's mom. I'm so happy she worked with me, she does beautiful work!!
Thank you Shirley for getting us together :-)
This plaid pillow is one of the pillows she made...the french script pillow I had for years...the colors work perfectly together.
I did a little recycling with two of these floral pillows.
This fabric matches the chair in the room...I had two slipcover seat cushions that I never used for my old sofa and sent them to Linda to use for pillows...she also added the jute trim to them.
I love this sweet little pillow that she added the wooden buttons to!!
  Linda also made me this topper for my round table...so pretty with the two fabrics.
~~~
In this next shot you'll get a peek at the rooms new layout and the new jute rug I ordered from One Kings Lane. An 8x10 looks much better in here then the 5x7 I was using before.
Here's a close up of the smaller plaid pillow she made for me with the added trim.
Thank you Linda...I love my new pillows!!
~~~
Next up...the full room reveal!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
~~~
Heading to the Country Living Fair tomorrow...

I can't wait!

A New Pillow

 Hi there friends...
Hope you all had a great weekend!
~~~
I found this pretty needlepoint pillow in Home Goods the other day...
I loved all the colors in it and knew it would go perfectly in my living room...so home with me it came!
 I placed it on my buffalo check chair.
I removed the foam insert that it came with and replaced it with one of my down ones.
It has all the colors in it that are in my rug.
Thanks so much for stopping by...have a super week!!
~~~
My new sofa for the family room was delivered this weekend...you'll get a little peek in my next post ;-)
