~Outside Summer Entry~

I figured I better show you how our front stoop looks before it gets changed up for the fall...which by the way I don't do until the end of September.
I decided on leaving the door plain after I had to fix it from the damage my magnetic hook left :( good thing I still had some paint left! I also bought a new rug from Ballards, it's similar to the one I had there before.

I just bought this two tiered planter at a local nursery for $30. I thought that was a steal considering it's size.
I know the fern is called asparagus fern but I can't remember the name of the other plant. I love how it cascades over the sides.
My concrete bunny is sitting just waiting to greet you :)
I added more of the asparagus fern to my concrete urn.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a super weekend!

It looks great, Martina. That trailing plant looks kind of like "snow-on-the-mountain" but I always thought it was a ground plant. I love the planter AND the rug AND the bunny. Okay- that's it- I love it all! xo Diana

Martina, your planter is so pretty. With all of this heat, I am ready to move on to a fall porch. Everything here is fried! Lol!

Great price on the plant stand, and it's a nice size and shape. Asparagas fern is a good doer for me, but I've forgotten to get it the last couple of years. I'm trying to think what the other plant is. It looks a little like Cuban oregano. Does it have a fragrance?

That looks wonderful!! I so need to work on my front entry - on the outside of the house that is!

Have a happy weekend xox

I love the plants, especially the asparagus fern. Never heard of it before, but I like the look.

The planter looks terrific by your front door. Love the new rug too. I think that the trailer is varigated Swedish ivy. It's a really good choice to plant with asparagus fern.

I think it looks really nice. I am curious to the name or the vine you have draped across the front doorway. Is it a grapevine? Where did you find that?

Your porch looks wonderful Martina. I think I have the exact rug in our living room but in a different color story.

That is a very welcoming entry, Martina. We are currently updating ours but it won't be finished for a bit. We added a new bright white garage door and now all the trim needs to be painted and I'm waiting for one of my brothers to install a new man door into the garage.

Wish I could find good deals like that. Love how your front is very welcoming! Yes it won't be long and we will be decorating for the fall.

Beautiful entry Martina! Love your new rug and planter. I LOVE asparagus fern and use it often in my pots, I actually winterize most of it because it is so big by the end of summer that I don't want to have to start over next year. I bring my pots inside, by a filtered light window and water just a bit over the winter...then put them back out as soon as the last threat of frost.
Thanks so much for sharing at Amaze Me Monday, hope you'll hop back over...
Blessings,
Cindy
