A Little Change Made A Big Difference!

I was never quite happy with the way this plant looked near the front door.I think it was because it was to low and almost the same height as my milk can. A trip to Home Goods took care of that!

Found this pretty metal plant stand with a tarnished brown finish, and it stands 37in high.
Added a faux fern from Michaels
And there she is. I like this so much better!
View coming down the stairs.I know the rug looks off centered with the door, but I have it centered with the stairs.

                                Much better don't you think?

I am really liking this look so much better! Now I just noticed I am going to have to pull out my bronze spray paint and paint that vent cover. So what do you guys think? I always love to here from you!!

What a great plant stand, Martina! I'm so glad you mentioned you got the fern at Home Goods, too, because I just suggested a faux fern to a client for a stand we got for her kitchen. I know where I'm going this week!

Good choice. And you were right something was off. Now it is beautiful. Isn't funny how long we can look at something and not like it, then one day a light blue comes on?
