I showed you guys my favorite paint projects of 2012 in my last post now I want to show you some of the changes that were made around the house this past year.
First up our sitting room/kid hangout room. New carpeting and white slipcovers for the leather chairs made such a big difference in this room.
Before... I never really liked these chairs but they were great for the kids.
Now I love them!
Next was having a custom slipcover made for the dark colored sofa in my living room. Love how it changed the look of this room.
In our dining room I dressed up the chandy by adding some crystals and bees wax sleeves.
and I finally got around to buying some red transferware here for around my mirror.
In the master bedroom I wanted to break up all the matchy furniture so I swapped out my nightstand for a skirted table that I purchased from Ballard.
Still lovin this change!
It's so much fun looking back and seeing all the changes that we make! I have a big project coming up for 2013 so stay tuned!

I really like how the white slip covers brought light into your room. I have a brown couch and love seat in my living room and bought some light colored pillows to make it look softer. Happy New Year from Humble Abode

Love the slip covered chairs - I've been kicking around the idea of slip covering a large leather chair myself.

Your slipcovers are wonderful! I have a slipcovered sofa and love it! I am also working on our master bedroom this year. I have a "matched" set but with a mish mash of other things. But I'm breaking up the set some more and will be using good ole chalk paint! Love seeing your projects for inspiration! :)

Martina, love all of the changes! the slip covers on the leather chair brighten up the room so much. Where did you find ones to fit so perfectly? Did you make them or have them custom made also?
