Family Room Reveal

Hi there friends...hope you all had a super weekend!!
~~~
As you know from the peek I gave you last week our new PB sectional arrived and the majority of my tweaking is done so I can finally share our family rooms new look!!
We love the way it turned out!
So happy I decided to paint our mantel Chateau Grey...
it changed the whole look of this room...much more country french don't you agree.
Mantel BEFORE...
 Sorry this was the best photo I could find for a BEFORE of the room...Christmas 2013
Now for the AFTER...
The sofas fabric is washed linen and the color is Seagrass...it's measurement is 140x74.
We added an extra piece so we have plenty of room to stretch out when we watch a movie as a family.
I also repainted the coffee table and tv console in Versailles...AS chalk paint. I'm still on the lookout for a new coffee table.
I used my round table in this corner and added a burlap tablecloth to it along with the pretty topper Linda made for me.
I have to admit...I was a little nervous with my decision of buying a sectional...but
after seeing it in place I know it was the perfect choice for this space...we love it!!
Your room is fantastic! I love the colors and that sectional has to be perfect for watching movies. If you are like me, it will take awhile before there will be food or feet on it though. :) Love your new pillows. The mantel is gorgeous and yes it looks much more french country.
Love it! The room looks beautiful and the sectional works perfectly! We have a sectional (yours is MUCH nicer) and my family loves to just pile on it and watch TV. It really is very functional. Great job on the room!
It looks great, Martina! A sectional seems like the perfect seating for this room with the television. I agree, I think painting the fireplace mantel was a great idea. That color works so well in the room, too.
Martina, it looks wonderful! You did a great job on the mantel--I think the new color is especially good with the granite surround. And your new sectional is so prettty. I'll be eager to hear how it holds up for you. I've considered Pottery Barn sofas before but never bought one; I'd love to hear how you like it. It's definitely a beautiful color! Great choice.
Enjoy your new room! :)
Your room looks fantastic Martina. You were right to paint your fireplace in that wonderful color. It has so much more character. I see a lot of all white French Country but I prefer the French Country homes that have some color. Your couch is great and the pops of red are perfect. New follower via email!!!
