A gift of "Time"

This beautiful grandfather clock was given to me a few days ago by my cousin. We were together over the holidays and he asked if I would like it. He owns two, he's in the process of down sizing so he needed to get rid of one.
There was NO WAY I was going to say no to this beauty!

I found a home for it really quick in my living room. I changed the room around a little too. I'll show you guys as soon as I'm finished putting all the Christmas decorations away.
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look!

Aren't you the lucky one. I love mine. Mr.WWH father made ours. It looks
very similar.
I love your tassels. I noticed the one on your clock and the other day I saw a black and white check one.
Do tell me where I can find them?

That was such a generous gift! I'm sure you will enjoy it for years to come. I bet it makes a neat ticking sound and chimes on the hour. It reminds me of one in my inlaws house. They have one similar to that. Such a perfect "gift" for the new year too!

Beautiful. Sometimes I am a stubborn uptight girl and my first thought was, please don't paint this white with chalkboard paint. I sound old and awful, but it's just so pretty like it is. Love were you have it!

Is it a Howard Miller? Gorgeous clock. We bought ours a few months after moving into our home and wonder why it took us so long to have a grandfather clock.
We chose ours, because one of the chimes is Ode to Joy.:-)
