Cha Cha Cha Changes!

Hey there friends...hope you all had a great weekend!
I'm at it again!!
A little change was made in our foyer using a few of the things I bought at the Country Living Fair.

I've been on the hunt for one of these flat hanging baskets and had no luck finding one until I went to the CL Fair!
These ironstone plates came home with me too.
Here's how things used to look...
Here's how they look now...
Love it!
I simply filled the basket with this dried bundle I picked up at Hobby Lobby...love this stuff I want to find other things to use it in!
I added three of the plates around it and the other two found a home in my master bedroom which you'll see soon.
  I love the new look!
It's always fun changing things up...
what changes have you made recently?

My cheapest one yet!!

 Hi there friends...
We've been so busy around here the last few weeks with my oldest graduating 8th grade this past Friday...her semi formal...and all the class trips they took in the last month (and I made sure I went on every one of them!). Their school definitely goes all out for the graduating class...they make them feel super special!
 Her year was filled with many special memories!
~~~
I can't believe she's going to start high school in September and we all know how fast those 4 years go!
We are so proud of our girl!!
~~~
Ok... let's get on with the post now!
I still can't believe I only paid $1.50 for this demijohn! You heard me right only $1.50!!!
I found it in my favorite antique store in Connecticut.
It's a great size and it's in perfect condition.

 I'd definitely say this was a good find!!
Have a great week!

Family Room Reveal

Hi there friends...hope you all had a super weekend!!
~~~
As you know from the peek I gave you last week our new PB sectional arrived and the majority of my tweaking is done so I can finally share our family rooms new look!!
We love the way it turned out!
So happy I decided to paint our mantel Chateau Grey...
it changed the whole look of this room...much more country french don't you agree.
Mantel BEFORE...
 Sorry this was the best photo I could find for a BEFORE of the room...Christmas 2013
Now for the AFTER...
The sofas fabric is washed linen and the color is Seagrass...it's measurement is 140x74.
We added an extra piece so we have plenty of room to stretch out when we watch a movie as a family.
I also repainted the coffee table and tv console in Versailles...AS chalk paint. I'm still on the lookout for a new coffee table.
I used my round table in this corner and added a burlap tablecloth to it along with the pretty topper Linda made for me.
I have to admit...I was a little nervous with my decision of buying a sectional...but
after seeing it in place I know it was the perfect choice for this space...we love it!!
~Country Living Fair~
 Hi there friends...
This weekend the Country Living Fair was held in the beautiful historic area of Rhinebeck NY which is about an hour north from me.
This was my first time going...I made the trip on Friday morning and stayed till it closed!!
~~~
WARNING:
 This is a picture heavy post so you won't hear much from me...so grab yourself a drink and get comfy... enjoy the photos!

 There was chippy goodness everywhere!!

 I was VERY tempted to bring this large demijohn home with me...the price was very reasonable at $160...
I've seen this size on ebay for well over $300!!

 Wish I spent more time at this next booth...
 But the little Miss was getting hungry! She was such a good sport :-)
She had fun with these magnetic letters.

Thanks for coming along with me...
what a great day!!
Can't wait to show you the goodies that came home with me!
