It's been a busy week at Dixie Delights!  I shared the final reveal of my powder room, kicked off a Christmas gift tag giveaway, posted pictures from our family photo session and shared the easiest crock pot apple cobbler EVER.  I'd love for you to pop by Dixie Delights and say hi!

A "Happy" change in my Living Room

Happy Monday friends!

The title of this post should have really been "A change that made ME happy" because I am loving my new Landon slipcovered sofa from Pottery Barn!

 I've been wanting a new sofa for our living room for sometime now...so on my last trip to Pottery Barn I bit the bullet and ordered the one I had my eye on.

At 88 inches long it's nice and roomy and I love that it only has the two extra long seat cushions instead of three.

I took these photos with the early morning sun shining in. 

A new couch means new pillows right ;-) 

The navy blue ones I ordered from Joss & Main and the floral ones were made by my friend Linda with the extra fabric I had on hand from the chair cushion she made me for in here awhile back.

I love the shape of the sloping arms.

 I wanted a light colored slipcover so the fabric I picked was Brushed Canvas and the color is Natural.

I can't wait to try out the new Christmas pillows I just bought in Home Goods!!

 

 I'm so glad it arrived in time for Thanksgiving!!

It finally feels like Fall here in southern Louisiana (that means 70s for highs). I have been decorating for the Fall season once my Halloween decor was packed away. I have been enjoying your own Fall posts. One thing I miss about living in Atlanta is the change of seasons, and Fall was always a favorite of mine. I love the colors and the aromas. I hope you will check out some of my recent Fall posts at Uptown Acorn.

I am in love with my newest rustic acorn bowl from Vagabond House.

I also am mad for some plaid this fall season.
