Eat...Drink...Paint

 Last weekend one of our local wine bars was hosting a Cocktail and Canvas party...my girlfriend sent me a text and asked if I wanted to go with her...why not...it was a pleasure leaving all the mess going on here for a few hours!
~~~
Look you even get a peek at the new hardwood in our kitchen:-)
One room down four more to go!!
~~~
I NEVER painted anything on canvas before...what do you think?!?
The artist who ran this had a painting already picked out and we all painted the same thing...she showed us what to do step by step and we followed along.
When it came time to paint the labels we could do whatever we wanted so I added things that had special meaning to me...my kiddos initials...the year we got married...and our anniversary.
~~~
Not bad for my first painting...we had a blast and will definitely be doing it again...
the Appetizers and Prosecco they served was a plus too;-)
this looks like a fun thing to do. I think they have things like that around here sometimes, but I think it might be in a studio, not a wine bar. Your painting turned out great,
Wow! I'm impressed. For someone that has never painted a canvas before, that's really good! Sounds like a fun time. Love the sneak peek of your floors too.
Fantastic!...I do not think my first painting would look any where near as beautiful as yours!...I was invited to a similar event...still thinking about it, but you just gave me the incentive to give it a try!...what more could you want...paint and wine...wine and paint..
Have a great weekend!!!
Isn't this fun!! I bet if you haven't already, go out and purchase brushes and paint. Great prices at the $store for canvas....
