Touches of Christmas in the Entry

Happy Monday Friends...
I spent all weekend decking the halls here at Northern Nesting...which I'm sure most of you were doing the same too! Too busy with the decorating to cook so my family ate up all the Thanksgiving leftovers;)
Here is the first thing you will see stepping in the front door...
I went with all live greenery this year. I bought this pretty swag at a local nursery and just added the bow.

This Santa picture was a recent Home Goods find.
A wreath that I have had for years dresses up the front door.

I may just add some live garland to the railing...which I'll show you guys if I decide to do it.
Can't wait to see what you all have been up to...Happy decorating!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

I love that swag! My Mom and I just went to a garden center near us this weekend and she got several clippings. I love all the different types!

It looks great, Martina! I love that swag you added to your mirror. I haven't used live greenery in a few years now and I miss the smell of it in the house. Love the wreath you added to the inside of your front door. Great idea!

Very pretty! I love a wreath that can be used for more than one year and yours is a pretty one. We also reuse ours, sometimes in a different spot or with a different bow. Love the greenery bunch on the mirror. Thanks for sharing your lovely entry.

Looks Great Martina! Can I ask though how you keep the live swag from turning brown...I've always wanted a "live" swag but worried it would be brown by Christmas!

Pretty, Martina. I love that little swag. I want to add live greenery to my rails, too. Maybe later this week.

I spent the morning cleaning so I can decorate this afternoon, It is fun to see what others are doing for ideas.

I would go with the greenery on the stairs. The staircase to decorate is one of the few things I miss about our former home.

Martina- For some reason you are showing up on my feed. Sorry for not commenting in a while. I adore your live greenery! xo

If I opened that entry door to go outside, would I see snow? It's nice and warm inside however, so who wants to see snow anyway!

Perfect, just perfect. I love the swag!

Lovely Martina. I never thought of putting a wreath on the inside of my door. What a great treat for yourself and not just those outside.
I don't know if it was just a Black Friday special over the weekend, but Home Depot had their roping and fresh wreaths and swags for only $5 in case you're looking for more greenery.
