A Cottage Christmas Half Bath

I've been decorating all weekend, my house is a MESS and I am pooped! That being said, I love Christmas and I love spreading a little Christmas cheer all thru my house. This is our downstairs half bath that all our guests use. I went with a Cottage Christmas look in here this year.

 This sweet little santa tassel I purchased last year over at The Tassel House. She makes the cutest tassels!

 This vintage looking picture I found last year in Home Goods.

 And this little santa picture is very near and dear to me because my son bought this for me a few years ago at his schools Christmas Shop. He picked it out all on his own.

 Reed defuser and spray from Peir1. The scent is Holiday Forest, it smells so good!

~Winter Whites~

 I decided to keep the white bedding on my bed for the winter months and just change the pillows to warmer ones for the cooler months ahead. Since the furniture and walls are dark the white bedding really brightens up the room.  The check pillow in the middle from Ballard Design  I've had for awhile. I just purchased the two euro pillow covers on clearance from Pottery Barn a few weeks ago for only $10.99 each!! I think I did good!

 Now that Thanksgiving is over.... Let the decorating begin! Hears a little peek at what I've been working on today.

To Paint or not to Paint....

It is so true what they say, one project always leads to another! At least in my house it is and I know I'm not alone here, right:) I finally finished painting the pieces in my family room in AS Coco and I am lovin this new color. It definitely is a warm color, that being said I feel like my fireplace mantel is to WHITE. So now the question is, should I paint it or leave it white? Here's a look of the room with  the newly painted pieces. It was hard to get it all in one shot.

I was thinking of painting it in either the Coco or French Linen. Maybe you guys even have another suggestion, I am all ears and I value all your help!

        To paint or not to paint...that is the question?

                

It's all about the knobs!

 I was so happy when I came home and saw a little brown box waiting for me! The new knobs I ordered for our tv cabinet came. Along with the new paint job they made all the difference! Let's go take a look....
