Hi there friends...
Well we are finally getting some warmer temps here in NY and I couldn't be happier!
Don't get me wrong I do love the winter and snow but this was a brutal one...I'm anxious to see the grass again!
~~~
If you haven't already noticed...being stuck inside this winter has made me make numerous changes!!
One of them was bringing back out all my favorite roo's again!
Especially after seeing this pretty hutch on Rhoda's blog Southern Hospitality one day.
So into the storage room I went to pull them all out...and I created my own display on top of my kitchen cabinets.
Most of my roosters I picked up in Home Goods...
...except for the one new one I just bought in Hobby Lobby!
I couldn't pass it up...I love all the colors it has especially the black and white check on it's neck and around the base.
Every French County kitchen needs a rooster or two ;-)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
The rooster are looking good Martina! They add a punch of great color!
Your roosters are perfect!! Love me a pretty rooster!
Love the jolt of color, Martina. Your new fella from HL caught my eye right away! I am a winter lover also, but this one has run its course in my opinion. It's sunny and 40 today and it feels glorious, lol.Jane
Your rooster collection looks great all grouped together in your kitchen, Martina! Much more of a statement and I like how you set them up on top of the cabinets.
Rain here today, but I'll take it as long as it isn't snow! It's been in the 50's and might even hit 60 Thursday!
Love all of your roosters! They really brighten up your cabinets.
Hi Martina! You know I'm loving your pretty Roosters! I love how they are gathered above your cabinets. Wish I had a space like that! I think I'd poke up some Roos too. It has gotten up to 40' here today and my house seems to be melting as the water is dripping off of it!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Love your rooster collection! I have a few roosters in my kitchen also ;-)
Oh- They look SO nice up there. That is a really fun collection. I love the bright one with the checkerboard pattern. He is SO cute.
The flat baskets/trays behind them really add something, too. xo Diana
Your kitchen is lovely too.
The top of your cabinets is just the perfect place to display your rooster collection! Love your newest one, too! He would be right at home in my black and white kitchen!
I love the color the roosters bring to your kitchen. Looks beautiful.
You have the nicest collection of roosters I've seen. I love the way you've arranged them and all the shapes and colors together. Wonderful!
what a fun way to display them at the top of the cabinets! Love the colors all together.
Isn't this Spring like weather wonderful? I'm loving it, but I try not to get too excited...March can be very unpredictable.
I love your rooster collection, especially your newest, colorful one!
One can never have too many Roo's...love it!
Blessings,
Cindy
How fun! Love the inspiration photo. You have a cute collection. I've never combined the few I have- I'll have to look at doing that sometime!
Love the roosters Martina!...
Hi Martina,
Love your roo collection. Looks great on your cabinets.
Kris
Great collection of Roos, Martina. I'm so happy we are getting warmer temperatures. It's 60 here today
Cindy
What a beautiful kitchen you have! Particularly love your island!
Martina, we have a flock of roos who live here too. Your new one is adorable. I may have to stop in HL to see if one is still available. The black and white checks are a deal breaker. '-)
Fun to see your collection. I'm happy you brought them out of storage. They are perfect in top of your cabinets.
Martina, I love your rooster collection. I have my roosters displayed on top of my kitchen cabinets as well. Most of mine are Jamaican art roosters, but have several from home goods and other stores.
Hi Martina, love your roosters topping your kitchen cabinets. Love your collection.
XO
That rooster collection would ALMOST be enough to motivate me to stay in the kitchen long enough to make dinner from scratch! I love the variety and how they look grouped together on the white cabinet.
