A Switcharoo!

Did a quick switcharoo in my living room! Remember that yardsale table I found HERE I finally found a home for it. Left it in it's original state too, just gave it a good cleaning!

                                               BEFORE

                                     Same vignette on top

Added this ginger jar to the bottom shelf. My mom's friend gave it to me, and I thought it went nicely with the blue and white pieces I have on top.

Close up of the details on the legs

I'm liking this little change and I'm glad I decided not to paint it! What do you guy's think?

Thanks so much for stopping by, I always enjoy our visit's:)

I like your new table better. It's so much more interesting looking with that little shelf on the bottom and the scrolled legs. I think leaving it unpainted is fine.

Martina, I love this. The new table really makes a statement and the blue and white pieces are perfect. I am glad you did not paint it. I saw a table just like this one the other day and they want $125 for it.

What a pretty table! I really like it and think you did good not to paint it! Great find!

Hi Martina. That's a beautiful table and I think it looks perfect just as it is now! What I really like best about it (over the other one) is its height. Taller tables, like yours, really look nice with the furniture. Linda

I love this table Martina and i am so so so happy you did not paint it! The wood grain is gorgeous. Sometimes wood just cannot be painted. It is a rich looking piece!

Your table looks perfect there. You were right not to paint it and because it stands higher than the previous one, you can see all your lovely blue and white china better. I have that exact same ginger jar by the way. x Sharon

That is really a beautiful little table. Love the leg detail.

Your kiddoes are just adorable. I really like the idea of school uniforms, but it does make it fun to see how they style themselves in regular clothes.

Martina, Your table switch is great and I love that you have a shelf below to display the happiness jar. I have two and love to use them around the house. Nice blue and white vignette, too.
