New vignette on the blue chest

 Hi there friends...
You know what they say new year...new vignettes!
Once all the Christmas stuff is put away I love having a blank slate to play around.
 I love this metal urn.
I usually have a real plant in it...but the plants never do well since I can't re-pot them in it...so I grabbed a tall topiary I had in my hoarding room and added some moss it.

Love adding old books to a vignette.
I found this cute brass acorn at the indoor flea market this past weekend.
I left the berry wreath on the mirror for the winter months.

It's nice seeing some sunshine!
Are you having fun creating new vignettes after the holidays?
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi Martina ~ thanks for sharing your sweet vignettes. I usually go through stages of fun and frustration after the Christmas decorations come down! :) Doesn't that sunshine make everything look better? We were enjoying some here the last few days but now the Seattle grey and mist have rolled back in... Enjoy! ~julie

Very pretty vignette, Martina! I love your books.

We have been having sunshine here the past couple of days and I just love it. It is deceiving, of course, because when you go outside it is cold, but it just puts me in such a good mood.

This is so pretty! I have a topiary like this that I should re~pot like yours so it's not towering!! The acorn piece is perfect.

So glad I'm not the only one with a hoarding room! :)

That's a pretty vignette. I'm more apt to make changes when the sun is shining in my home too. It makes everything show up better! Glad that you're having nice weather too.

I just LOVE your blue chest and your vignette. Did you paint the blue chest yourself? I still don't have all the Christmas put away yet. But I love creating new vignettes after the holiday to cheer up the winter days.

Such a pretty vignette, Martina! I'm glad you left the red berries up "for the birds" needing them in the winter...that's what the wreath reminds me of. I love that blue chest, did you paint it at some time earlier?
