I even finished it off with some white roping. After cutting the fabric to size I used Mod Podge to glue it to the tray. The Mod Podge didn't work to well with the white roping so I used my glue gun for that.
I bought the fabric and roping in Hobby Lobby.
Now Mackenzie has a spot to gather some of her favorite things.
See that white ceramic box, I made that in ceramics class at least 30 years ago. She uses it for all her earrings.
Much cuter for a teenager's room, don't you think!
Hope your all having a super week...there is snow in our forecast for today and tonight:(

You jazzed up that tray perfectly. Love it.
That sure is one pretty tray for someone who is not crafty! You did an awesome job!! I love the color of the fabric. Enjoy your day, Gail
What a great way to have that tray make a statement. It turned out great- no plain black tray any more! xo Diana
Very pretty, I think trays are my favorite accessory!
I love a pretty tray in a teen's room. Looks great.
The tray looks great! Perfect for a teenager's room. Sometimes it's the simplest things that make the biggest statements.
The tray looks great with the black and white chevron!
That chevron pattern is perfect for that tray. It really dresses it up and will make it much more "hip" for your daughters room now.
You definitely added pizazz to that plain tray. Perfect for your daughter's room!

Looks wonderful, Martina! Such a great transformation!
Wow, pizzazz indeed. I have always wanted to dress up some trays but never thought to use roping to make it look so finished. Now I must try it. Thanks for the idea.
You did give it pizazz!

Hi Martina,
I love your black tray and it's styled perfectly. I've been looking for one for my coffee table.. The monogrammed ones are SO expensive. Yours is just perfect! Have a nice weekend!
