My new/old table is done!

Hi there friends...I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
We sure did...and now I'm in Christmas full swing!!
But before I start showing you guys my Christmas decor...
I wanted you to see the pie table I made over.
I found the perfect spot for it in our living room.

The detail work on this table is so pretty!
Painting it really makes it all stand out.

Before...
After...I painted it AS Versailles then waxed it with both the clear and dark wax.
I love the way it turned out!
Happy Sunday and Happy Decorating!!

Gorgeous table, Martina! The color choice really looks great on it, too. It looks like you picked the perfect spot to place it, too. Back to Christmas decorating for me, too, today!

it's so much more beautiful now. Dark toned furniture really hides any detailed carvings, painting makes much more sense!

The table turned out very pretty, Martina. I have a table very similar to it and I was just going to give it away. Maybe I will paint it like you did....Christine

Perfect color choice! And, that is the coolest table I've seen (looks like two stacked cake plates, which I love)! You've styled it beautifully, and such a great addition to your space!
