Now I have a pair!!

 Hi there friends...
I hope you all had a great weekend!
~~~
A few years ago one of my mom's friends was getting rid of a ginger jar that she had for years and asked if I would like it...YES PLEASE!
I usually have it in either my living room or dining room...
Then I started thinking about new decorating ideas for Christmas and knew I needed another one just like it so I could use them on the mantel in our family room.
 I searched Etsy and Ebay and boy was I shocked at how expensive they are!!
I finally found one on Ebay for a reasonable price and snatched it up before it was gone!
Here they are on my mantel...
the one on the right is the new one I just got.
 I simply added a few eucalyptus stems to them... kept it simple because come Friday I'll be in full Christmas decorating mode...as I know many of you will be.
Here's a peek at what I'm working on today...
another great find by my mom...she knew I would love it!
 Have a great week and a
Wonderful & Happy Thanksgiving!!
Pretty double pie table, Martina. Love your pottery too. I used to have one when the kids were small but I don't know what happened to it. Happy Thanksgiving to you all!...Christine
I like the look of the matching jars on the mantel. Love that brown eucalptus too. I almost bought some of that this Fall myself. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving as well.
Hi Martina! The ginger jar is beautiful and looks so elegant on your mantel! I love that kind of table. Don't they call them pie pan tables, or something like that? Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Be a sweetie,
Looking forward to seeing what you do with that little table. There are several like it at my local thrift shop but I am not very creative. Thank goodness for those who are, like you, and love to share with the rest of us!
Hi Martina, they look gorgeous on your mantel and the blue is such a complimentary color to the sweet little pumpkins.
Oh gosh Martina, I'm reading this again and it's the ginger jars I'm supposed to see not the sconces! Guess I'd better pay better attention. The ginger jars are gorgeous and they never go out of style.
Martina,
Lucky you to find a matching jar. They look gorgeous on your mantel. For years I had blue and white on our mantel at our first home. Packed it away when we moved to this house for some reason. In recent years I've pulled it out again and even added a few more pieces when I find them at estate sales or thrift stores. Blue and white is timeless and so classic.
Enjoy your pair. Can't wait to see what you decide to do for Christmas on your mantel.
