Wooden Cabinet for the Master Bath

 Hi all!!
I've been wanting to replace the cabinet in our Master Bath "potty" room for some time now...and the other day while walking the aisles of Home Goods I spotted this pretty wooden one.
Now this isn't its original color...I painted it in AS Versailles the same color I used on my antique chest here
It's original color was red...we all know I love red... it just wouldn't work in our Master Bath.
Here's the Before...

Love the shutter doors...but they were NOT fun to paint!!

I really like the way it looks in it's new color...I think Versailles is becoming one of my favorite AS colors!

Here's a little peek of it hanging up...
I want to repaint our Master Bath and make some minor changes...then I'll give you a full tour.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Martina, you had vision to imagine it another color! A lot of people would have just passed it up! It looks great.

I love the cabinet Martina. I'm looking around for one for inside the "water closet" in the master bath. This would be perfect. The pegs are great also.

Love it Martina and I bet those shutter doors were a pain to paint! I'll be back to see your newly decorated bath!

It looks pretty. I love AS chalk paint. Shutters are a lot of work to paint and tricky.

Lookin' good! I feel for you having to paint those slats.

I love it, Martina! It's neat that you walked by it, red and all, and saw how it could look in your bath. I can't tell if the color is white or light blue...I've never used chalk paint. Just love it.

XO,
Jane

awww, this is adorable. I love little cabinets like this. (I got a new one, too)....
and the worst thing in the world to paint is SHUTTERS AND SHUTTER DOORS.
Looks like you did a great job, tho.

I love the shutter doors! Just last week I was thinking that if I can't find a full size cabinet to go in our master bath that I would get my husband to build me one using shutters as doors! Great minds....LOL!

I agree all those slats would not be fun to paint. I do love the new color though.

I LOVE it, Martina. That color is amazing. I need to try that one.

Did you say a few naughty words (to yourself, of course) when you were painting those shutters? I might, or might not have, when I was doing my last little louvered door project. xo Diana

You did a really nice job on the cabinet- what a great find. I like the color a lot! I remember painting louver doors at my parents- very tedious!
