Filling an empty spot

I had an empty wall in my living room that needed

to be filled and this is what I came up with.

I bought the frame in Hobby Lobby for 50% off so I only paid $20 for this beauty. The plate I had. I actually have 2 more, I bought them in Country Curtain last year.

A few night shots.

Love the patina.
Found one more while I was browsing and thought it was a good size for layering, I just scratched it up a bit. This one was only$12.
Gotta love Hobby Lobby with there 50% off sales! Hope your all having a great week!

Love those frames and how you used them. I've seen them before and admired them not ever knowing what I would put in them. Now I know! You've given me such great inspiration. I love your sweet little plate framed that way. It's no longer just a plate, but a piece of art.

Hobby Lobby does have good prices on frames when they go half off. Love the framed plate. Just a thought though I would lower it. I know it will be behind that gorgeous lamp, but it will look great closer to the table.

Martina,
You have a good eye! Both frames are winners.

I might have to copy cat that framed plate. It is so pretty. The patina on the frame goes well with the color of the dish.

I am now going to look at some of the frames in the basement!
Thanks for inspiring!

Neat idea...there is so much you can do with pretty frames. You can't beat Hobby Lobby's half price sales. I stay up until midnight on Sat. to check their website to see what will be on sale for the next week. I know...I'm crazy! lol...I also love the lamp. Is that something you found recently? Kristen
