My first paint project of 2012

Maybe I should of titled this my first "Do Over" of 2012. I 've had this little table for years, it came from the Bombay store. I know you guy's have seen this before. It was a dark mahogany and I painted it Georgian Green by BM (that was before blogging). Now it's one of my favorite new AS colors French Linen.

Here it is in the Georgian Green. I forgot you even get a glimpse of it in my header picture.

After painting it the French Linen I waxed it in both the clear and dark wax. Then I added old white with an artist brush in all the grooves. I let that dry about 5mins. and with a damp paper towel I wiped some of it off. I love how this color looks next to my chair.

Sorry for the picture overload, but when I get snappin sometimes it's hard to stop!! I have another small table in here that is going to get the same treatment. I'll be showing that to you soon.

Martina, I love it. That is such a great color. I still want that chair. Just get tired of it. K?

I have a little table that looks just like that Martina! Hmmm, it may need to be painted {it's currently green} and I can't remember where I even got it from. I do have some other tables I got from Bombay. They used to have such great sales on their accent tables. It looks great in this color and I like the little touches of the white.

Oooh, your little table looks wonderful with the AS paint. I have a little table that needs to be painted or refinished, but every time I mention painting it, my hubby has a fit. LOL He's not much into painted furniture, unless it's in really bad shape.
Have a good weekend,
Babs
