~Christmas Mantel 2011~

My mom bought this Santa painting for us in Kirklands about 6 or 7 years ago and it goes on our mantel ever year. I usually just change the garland up a bit to give it a different look.

I added my favorite candle holders in the mix and topped them with these twig spheres that I spray painted red.

The garland I purchased at Hobby Lobby last year and the only thing I added to it was the glass ornaments. I love the fullness it has!

I am so happy with the way the mantel turned out this year! Thanks so much for stopping by, I always enjoy our visits:)

Beautiful, simple mantel. I agree the greenery has just the right fullness. Santa looks so cute, between the candle holders. Perfect!!

I have the very same picture, but my frame is dark. I like your gold frame, so I just may have to get the spray paint out after the holidays. I have mine displayed on a stand. Your mantel is beautiful, by the way.

Your mantle is lovely...I always struggle with decorating my mantle. I just bought a large Santa print, very similar to yours and I love it...your face looks a little more jolly than mine. The garland is also gorgeous, but what really caught my eye are those gorgeous candlesticks - love them!

Your mantel looks so festive with the garland and the Santa painting! I have been looking a for a nostalgic looking picture...maybe something Norman Rockwellish for my mantel! Haven't started my mantel yet, but you have inspired me! Love it!

Your Santa picture really sets the tone for the rest of the room! There's no mistake that it's Christmas time at your house. He looks quite regal in his big gold frame. I like how you styled your mantel with all the fluffy garland too. Very pretty and festive!

Love your mantel, Martina! The mantel in our new place looks like it is about the size of yours and maybe I should go the garland route, too. This is smaller than the two I had in my old house so I saw right away that my old way of decorating the mantel wasn't going to work here. If nothing else, maybe I'll get some ideas from the mantel parties for next year!

Sorry I've been a bit lax in commenting, but I'm trying to catch up....lol! I keep looking at those wonderful Santa prints they keep having at Kirkland's. Yours is just beautiful and certainly deserves a lovely setting like your mantel. Looks beautiful.

Cute, cute, cute -- love that adorable pillow & the little stocking. The pillow is perfect on your lovely chair.

Your guest bathroom looks so charming and sweet. Aren't those things that our children buy or make for us, just the absolute best? I love how you've tucked the little treasure into a perfect spot.

Everything really looks beautiful and so festive!
