A Tables New Look .... and a Winner!

Another victim of Annie Sloan chalk paint. When I saw the new colors that came out I knew I had to find a piece to try them on, and the coffee table in my family room was the proud participant! I ordered a can of the cream because I liked the soft yellow tone it had to it, but after it went on it was to light for me. So I ordered a sample of French Linen and Coco. I love both colors but Coco was the choice for this project. Let's take a look.

I like how a little of the cream came through after I sanded it down. I used both the clear and dark waxes.

                                                                    BEFORE

                                 and After....

                                   I LOVE it's new look!

Now onto the winner of my napkin and matching tea towel Giveaway.

I just love how your table turned out! I like it better than it looked before. That's a great color for your room. My sister has French Linen and said I should use it on the mirror in my foyer. I think I might give it a try.

Coco is a pretty new color and it looks gorgeous on your coffee table. I used the cream on our bedroom furniture, which works perfect in there, but yes it is lighter for sure. I think your fireplace is going to be your next victim LOL! I'm just sayin!

I just used CoCo on my first AS project. I just have to get a little bit braver with my sanding. I never take enough off it seems. I have two more tables to paint in the den. They are a red wood stain, should be interesting to see how they sand off under the CoCo.
