Table Makeover (TAKE 2)

My new favorite color in Annie Sloan chalk paint is Chateau Grey! The quart came and I got right to work on this table in my upstairs hallway. I painted this table last year and used Georgian Green by Ben. Moore. I like it but I love this color so much more! After the paint dried I applied the AS dark wax to it and I love the layered look it gave it.

Here's the BEFORE when it was Georgian Green

Couldn't stop myself there so I dry brushed some old white on the lantern and picture frames to lighten them up a bit.

Hope you all are having a great week and staying cool! Thanks for stopping by:)  Martina

Looks great. I was painting today...first time with the chalk paint. Do you use the AS wax brush? I had some wax already...Minwax Natural. It was a mess applying it with a rag. I think the brush might be easier? I'm not much of a painter so I'm not sure how much of this I'll be doing!

Wow - it was pretty before, but what a difference this finish makes. It looks way expensive!!! You did a beautiful job. I may have to order that color - so pretty.
Love the white washed look on the accessories too.
Thanks for coming to THT.

Gorgeous! I have yet to try Chateau Grey...thanks so much for the inspiration! I have pinned this to my "Paint it Annie" board! I love how you showed the difference between the flat benjamin moore paint and ASCP with the wax...both are pretty but the waxed Chateau Grey looks so much more elegant and expensive!
Best Wishes and Blessings,
Amanda
