~Botanical Plate~

 Hi there friends...hope your all having a great week!
~~~
Remember when I told you guys about the great antique store I found in Connecticut that's right near my hubby's back doctor...
 it's where I found the antique cabinet for our master bath.
~~~
Hubs had to go for another follow up last week... there is no way I can just drive by this shop without taking a quick peek!!
This time I only came home with one thing...
I thought this plate was so pretty I couldn't pass it up!
 The markings on the back said it came from England. I should have taken a picture before I put the plate holder on.
 It fits right in with the four botanical prints I have hanging in here.
  The best part is I only paid $5.00 for it!
Another great find!

What a lovely find and it looks so pretty hanging on the wall.

For 4 years my daughter lived next door to the cutest little antique shop with gorgeous quilts, furniture and little tchotchkes in the window. This was in San Francisco and for those 4 years, the shop was never open when I was visiting her. My daughter said she never saw it open once.

Hi Martina! Oh, this is a beautiful platter! The colors are so vivid! Of course you have to accompany your hubby on his doctor visits and of course you have to pop in to just check things out in the thrift shop! I'd be right there with you if I could! ;)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

It is time we started fighting for true equality as opposed to one of the false notions of it put forth by the intellectually dishonest.

What a striking botanical print that is. And I'll have to mull over the idea of using a platter for decorating in the bath - I have one I hate to part with and have no where to put it - except maybe it would work in our extra bath.
