Now I know it's just not me that walks around the house staring at things...then suddenly feel it needs a fix...right!!
Well that's how I felt every time I walked by these pictures in my hallway. I painted these frames last year in Forest Green...love the color but it just needed a little more...rub & buff to the rescue!
I applied a little rub & buff to the inner part of the frame when I first painted them but they still looked like they where missing something...so I simply added a little more around the outter edges. Now they feel complete:)
Here's a Before...
and now the After...
Now they won't bug me anymore when I walk by them:)
My girls were in their dance recital last weekend...here's a quick look at the two of them. Mackenzie was in her tap costume and Victoria was in her ballet one. They both LOVE dance...Mackenzie is in 7 different numbers and dances beautifully...her little sister is following in her foot steps! So proud of them!
Have a great week!!

That little bit of gold really did improve them. Glad they won't be bugging you anymore. Your girls are so pretty.
Yes I agree! Your girls are so beautiful!
Love what you did with the rub and buff and you have two beautiful girls!
Your girls are beautiful..cute picture of them!
Love the difference a little rub and buff can make!
Your girls are beautiful, Martina! Love how the pictures look with the rub n buff. It really does make a difference in their look.
I love the pics... they look just perfect. I laughed when you said, "I am not the only one who stops and stares at things in my house".... I so do that!..lol My hubby says as he is walking out the door...."don't move the couch today or anything else...." lol.... Your daughters are precious!! Blessings!
The added rub n buff made all the difference! They really look aged now. Great idea. Your daughters are beautiful. Wish I had a girl that was in dance. I grew up doing all that kind of stuff and always thought I would be a mom behind stage at the dance recitals helping the kids get ready. Since I had boys, that obviously didn't happen! LOL!
Your frames look amazing now, and they really pop off the wall. Great choice. Your oldest daughter looks like a character from the tv show Nashville.
It's funny how the little thing can make all the difference! The frames look wonderful! And your girls are so cute!

Beautiful girls!! And, your frames look great. I was over at a friend's house yesterday helping her accessorize. I suggested that she get some rub 'n buff. Well, she hadn't heard of that product before and thought it sounded a little perverted. We had a good laugh :)
Love that touch of gold Martina! Oh what a sweet photo of your girls!
xx
