~White to Black~

The little shelf in our powder went from being white to black and distressed. It stands out so much more now, against the tan colored walls! It really makes the accessories pop too.

Love it's new look, don't know why I didn't think to do this sooner!
Along with it's new look a few new accessories were added too. I've had these bottles in my stash, they came from Hobby Lobby last year.
 Here's a Before&After

A new look for a little shelf! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week!

Love the change Martina. I have black shelves in my washroom. I love them. Black just seems to ground the room.

It does look great black, Martina! It's great when you can get a new look just by painting something you already have.

I like it black. I try painting stuff black and it never looks right in my house. White doesn't look right either. I gotta figure that problem out.

Painting that shelf black was a great idea! It looks like a new shelf now. Interesting how small changes can have such a great impact on something as simple as a small shelf.

Love how it looks! We have been painting white shelves, hutches, pie safes...you name it...if it was white it is now black with a little distressed look to it. The black looks so amazing and I am loving it. Love your shelf. I just did one today and I'm going to put it up tomorrow. Great post.
Blessings,
