There's a few changes going on in the master bedroom and I thought I'd start off by showing you the new vignette on my dresser. I just shopped the house and used what I had except for the leather box that I just found in Hobby Lobby for $20.

Love the pretty handles.
This Lladro was given to me by my MIL when I was pregnant with my first daughter Mackenzie 12 years ago. She never got to meet her, she passed when I was 5months pregnant at the young age of 58. She was the sweetest MIL a girl could ask for!
I moved this lamp from my nightstand over here, because a change went on over there:)
There is more to come, so stay tuned!
Hubby had a little set back with his knee. From his knee down to his foot is swollen and brusied. It was so bad the other day he couldn't even get his sneaker on to go to PT. We went to see his doctor and he said this is all normal after the surgery he had. (Let's just say I'm keeping myself busy)!
I'm off to finish staining the deck now! Have a great weekend!!

Your leather box looks great on your dresser. I hated to hear that your mil never got to meet your children. So sad!! Sounds like you're getting alot done around the house. Hope your husband starts improving soon.

That's a beautiful Lladro, Martina. I have quite a few of those in a corner curio cabinet in my living room {which I'm thinking of painting at some point}. I hope your hubby feels better.

Hi Martina, Great leather box. I love boxes!! And what a special gift from your MIL ~ the Lladro is gorgeous. Now I'm glad to see you have a white framed mirror above your wood chest of drawers. I did that in my bedroom to lighten up things and am always wondering if it looks out of place. I feel affirmed when I see others doing the same thing! Love my blogging friends!!

Lovely new look on your dresser. Sorry about the hubby's bum knee. I've heard that it's worth the pain in the end when the knee works perfectly again. Can't believe you are staining your deck...whew! Good luck!
Oh Martina...the vignette looks lovely and you simply touched my heart with your Llardro and what you said about your MIL. She passed too young, but the way you wrote about her she obviously is still so close to you in your heart.

How nice that your MIL was able to give you this before our Lord calle her home. My MIL died 6 weeks after our wedding and it has always sadden my hubs that she never knew our girls. Beautiful box you found at HL.

Have fun staining the deck. We did that last year, thank goodness..not my favorite thing to do.
