Decorating ideas for Christmas

Beautiful Christmas inspiration all from Country Living. I usually start decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving  but I tell ya it's getting harder and harder to hold off!

 Love this!!

I love red poinsettias!

This should be a Christmas card.

                       Have a great weekend,

what a great way to start my morning ,thanks Martina.. I agree about that door scene being a terrific Christmas Card.
My daughter always schedules her vacation for this time of year and as of 8 last night she's off for 9 days.. Then another 15 at Christmas.
She wants the decorating to start TODAY.. Its good to have someone around as enthusiastic as I am about it all..
Happy Friday
Sonny

Me, too, I've jumped the gun in Christmas deco, but want all the family to have both holidays next week while we are all together. That photo of the door with basket--the snow--love, love, love. --oh, and the red dishes--I so want those for my table.

Those are very inspiring! I adore transferware china. First I obsessed over brown transferware in fall, now I am all about red transferware for Christmas. I think it's time to start a collection!

I'm ready for Christmas, but saw a couple of things I'm going to copy from your lovely post. I love transferware in red...got none! Someday I will, difficult to get it around here. Thanks Martina for the great inspirations, I'm in love with the tablescape with food and all.
Have a great weekend.

Beautiful inspiration. I am waiting till after Thanksgiving, too. Always have. I love the decor, but no pulling out all the boxes and stuff to do it. My house will be a mess for days.

There are so many great ideas here. I love the trees in the teacups and the ones in the silver trophies. I also loved the wreath inside the empty frame. I can't believe Christmad is just around the corner. Where has the year gone?? x Sharon

All of these images you shared are gorgeous but I have to say my favorite is that one with the sled and snow at the front door! I hope you and your family have a beautiful thanksgiving!

I've already begun! The trees are standing in each room waiting for their jewelry. Meanwhile, I'm cleaning out the garage storage room, where everything was- you are so right- one thing DOES lead to something else! Too many projects going on at once around here. Thank goodness I don't have anything else to do but concentrate on the house for the next 4 weeks! LOL

These photos are very inspiring, Martina. You are getting me excited about Christmas decor and I cannot decorate for Christmas because of our floors plus I won't even be home...Christine

Beautiful pics, Martina! The second from the bottom has been a favorite of my forever! I admire you for holding off because I simply can't ... once Halloween is over, Christmas goes up. :) Maybe we can convert you next year. LOL
