Hey there friends...
A new indoor flea market opened up literally 5 minutes away from me...thank goodness they're only open on Saturday and Sunday!! I made my first trip there this past weekend and came home with some great finds...let's have a look...
This antique chair was the first thing I spotted. I will NOT be taking a paint brush to this piece...I love the finish on it and the pretty cane seat. It's new home is in my bedroom.
Next up I spied this demijohn and you'll never guess what I paid for it....are you ready $10!! At the same booth I also spied this pretty little tole tray...paid $10 for that too.
This little tray will be getting hung on my new gallery wall here
Now this last piece is the largest of my finds but you're only going to get a little peek of it...I know I'm mean;)
This beauty is in the process of getting a makeover... I can't wait to show you!!
Not bad for my first time there...right!?!
Not bad for my first time there...right!?!
This is what I saw this morning when I opened the garage door to let Neena out!
Another foot of snow fell during the night.
After I made us all french toast for breakfast... the kids went outside to go tubing. It's still snowing here... our fingers are crossed for a two-hour delay in the morning:)

You found some great things, Martina! I love that tole tray. I can't wait to see it added into your gallery wall. We didn't get as much snow as those further north from us because we had some sleet thrown in. It's getting a bit tiresome now and I heard there may be more Sunday!
ReplyDeleteWow, Martina! You did great! The snow is so pretty but I bet y'all are over it all. I cannot wait to see your new piece of furniture. xo
ReplyDeleteLove that chair and what a great buy on the demi john! Looking forward to seeing your makeover.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is so pretty.
You scored big on your first visit there. I really like the little tray. We were off from school today for a bit of ice, so there was no school, but also no snow for sledding. They've already announced a 2-hour delay for tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove your finds! The chair is gorgeous. Glad your kids had fun playing in the snow.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I can't decide which of your new finds I love the most since they are all soooooo fabulous :o) We got a foot of snow yesterday too but it is so cold today none of the kids are out enjoying it. Can't wait to see what you are working on!

ReplyDeleteWow you found some beautiful things for great prices. Your snow is beautiful too. It's snowing here in the Dallas area right now. Of course, it won't do the same as you have but it's fun to look out and see it. :)
ReplyDeleteUnlike everyone else, I can't seem to get enough of seeing the snow at other peoples houses. I think it just makes me feel better living in Minnesota.
