Playing around with my new Nikon D5200

 Happy weekend friends!!
I'm having fun playing around with my new camera! For the last 5 years I've been using a Nikon D5000 and have been very happy with it. The lens that came with my old camera broke, and when I went to replace it with a new and better performance lens the cost was almost the same amount as buying a new camera...so that's what I opted for and bought the Nikon D5200.

Here are some shots taken with the new camera...
I did not photo edit any of these...they're straight from the camera...I just played around with a few different settings.
The difference between the two is the D5200 has a much higher picture resolution which makes for better picture quality.
I also purchased a zoom lens for this camera and can't wait to get outside and test it out...hurry up Spring!!
It's going to be fun learning how to use all it's new features.
Enjoy your weekend...I'm off to play a little more!
Maybe I can bribe the kids into letting me do a little photo shoot with them:)

  1. Wow, Martina, I bet you love it!! We have a D5100 with a 50mm and a 75-200mm lens...Luis uses it mostly, but I use it sometimes for closeups. Hoping to get something new myself this summer, but going to be trying out a 20mm lens in the meantime. Have fun!!

  2. Okay, wow! What a difference! Where did you purchase yours? What's a fair price do you think? I don't mean to be nosy, but I know very little about cameras. Beautiful shots!
