With a title like that I should have saved this post for Valentines Day lol!
While my son and husband watched the Super Bowl...I worked on another paint project. I just love the way this little table turned out!
I had this table for years...it came from the Bombay Co. I had it in my living room for a while but it's been sitting in my storage room for about a year now.
It was a mahogany table that received a makeover a few years ago...here's what it looked like after the first paint makeover...do you guys remember this piece?
Here it is with it's new look...I painted it in AS Pure White and it now has a home in my son and youngest daughter's jack & jill bathroom.
It was the perfect piece to fill in this empty space.
This shell picture and set of wooden flip flops have been hanging in here for a few years now...I found them in Home Goods.
Being my son and daughter share this bathroom I went with a beach theme.
I heavily distressed along all the edges...love seeing the darker wood come through!
My mom and I took a ceramics class together over 30 years ago and she made that shell...I added the ivy plant to it...it should do well in here with all the light from the window shining in.
More changes to come in here so stay tuned!
