I'm hosting Easter and I have plenty to do but instead...I'm painting a piece of furniture!!
Here's a little peek...
This piece is going in my youngest daughter Victoria's room.
Are you all ready for Easter or are you like me
and doing things we shouldn't be ;)
I’m having everyone here and like you I’ve been sidetracked, got to get back on track! I’m almost ready so not to worry. The little peek tells me it’s going to be fabulous! Love the pulls on this piece.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Martina.

It's going to be beautiful. I'm like you, doing everything but what I'm supposed to be doing!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
I am not ready for Easter either...but I am working on it
ReplyDeleteWe will be spending the weekend working on our new project...the farmhouse...instead of cooking...we will be eating at a nice restaurant and coming back to the Farmhouse and hiding eggs with the kids...sleeping in one room on mattress and demolishing the rest..Easter is usually more peaceful but gotta get the job done.. Love the knobs on the dresser...can't wait to see the rest...Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI am not ready for Easter, but I am getting there. Just cannot find the Jelly Beans...I know, seems impossible, but we like a certain kind, and they are all gone....I gotta get out and look some more!
ReplyDeleteLOL- You are as bad as I am- Can't wait to see it all done! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThat sounds very familiar. Last week while I was supposed to be cleaning the house for a party I decided to paint a little table right quick. My daughter asked "why are you doing something that has nothing to do with your party?" I guess we just can't help ourselves!
ReplyDeleteThe doc put a cast on my leg today. So I won't be doing any Easter things. I think that piece for your daughter is going to be beautiful!

Oooh, such a tease, Martina! I'm doing things I probably shouldn't either, but I'm trying to get things done for the new booth I just got this week! I'm trying to get as much done as possible before Monday so I can get some things in it. Tomorrow is dedicated to food shopping though so I will have all the food I need for Easter dinner. : )
ReplyDeleteWell since I am going out for Easter brunch there is nothing to do around here. I have been in the garden
ReplyDeletemost of the week taking advantage of our beautiful CA weather.
Anxious to see the finished chest for your daughter.
Happy Easter.
Mary
I'm pretty much ready for Easter, but I'm always going in ten different directions. I love the knob on the piece you are painting. Can't wait to see the full reveal.
ReplyDeleteMartina, is that a knob!!
ReplyDeleteIf it is it's gorgeous!!
Wonder what you are working on!!
If the hand is any indication, it will look great:)
ReplyDeleteAll I have to do is make deviled eggs and rolls. We're going to my aunt's house for Easter dinner. Your painting project looks really interesting. Love the knob.
ReplyDelete*Why* am I not surprised by this, Martina? LOL That is the coolest knob I've ever seen! I can't wait to see more of this, undoubtedly, amazing piece! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteWell...I am painting four pieces of furniture this week, but I am not hosting Easter at my house. I will be making a couple of dishes Sat. night. Happy Easter Martina!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda

ReplyDeleteThat sure is looking interesting! Luckily, I am not hosting this year. Just cooking a bit to take! Life to the full, Melissa
ReplyDeleteI love the knob, Martina! I am officially on Spring Break, reading blogs, drinking coffee, and relaxing! HOPpy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see it! I am like you, doing everything but getting ready. :) Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteIn between painting remember to thaw the turkey or the ham!
ReplyDeleteBliss
I just love that knob, Marina, and I can't wait to see it finished. We are going out for Easter to family. Happy Easter to you and your family.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorta ready for Easter. At least I've done all my shopping and I'm going to start baking tomorrow.
