I never would of thought to accessorize with feathers until I started blogging, and I have to tell you I love the look they give a container, urn, silver pitcher, etc etc...
I forgot all about this little metal urn I bought from One Kings Lane last year. Out it came, then a quick trip to Hobby Lobby to buy some feathers... Lovin it!!
Now I'll be walking around the house looking for more things to add feathers to!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love feathers too. I used to have them everywhere and have since retired them to the basement. I do still love them though. I just had them out for so many years. They're great to use at Thanksgiving and Christmas too! I get mine from Hobby Lobby too. They have the best selection and prices. I love how yours look in that urn. That's a great combo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful vignette with the touch of feathers...I can't wait where you'll decorate with them next.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Martina! I've noticed them tucked into floral arrangements and think they add a nice touch.

ReplyDeleteThey look beautiful, Martina...and just think, if you get tired of looking at them you can ALWAYS use them for dusting (or so they tell me!'>) xo Diana

I used my feathers in an old silver trophy cup right after Christmas when I pulled them out of my woodland tree! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love using them, Martina. Your urn filled with them adds just the right accent to the green apples. Wanted to say I really appreciate you always stopping by for visits and leaving such nice comments. hugs, Sue
Your feathers tickle me Martina. Sorry, I couldn't resist. lol! I have that same urn. Mine may be littler. Right now it has a African Violet in it, but it hasn't bloomed again so I may need to pot it somewhere else.

ReplyDeleteHi Martina, I love the urn and the feathers are the perfect touch. Careful about adding too many feathers, some of those pretty containers might take flight. Don't know if the apples are real but they sure look good.
