Creating a Cozy Corner

 Hi Friends...hope your all having a great week! 
I'm still playing around in the family room! I created another little seating area with this new chair I just bought.
The picture below is how this corner looked before. It never felt complete to me, it's hard to tell from this next picture but there is a lot of space between the couch and the table. It was definitely missing something...
...how about adding another chair and moving the table to the corner. Much better!
I bought the chair and cushion in 
Pier 1. 
The high back makes it very comfy.
Added a pillow from my stash. Picked up this pretty multicolored bunch of tulips at the grocery store yesterday. 
Now this corner feels... cozy and complete!

    It does look very cozy, Martina! I have a similar black wicker rocking chair in our family room. It is surprising how comfortable wicker can be. Looks great!

    I love it! I just added a wicker chair to my family room! I pulled a wicker chiar off my porch and brought it in...

    I have to get the cushion replaced.. seems the birds dug into it for their nest...

    Martina...i love the addition of your chair in that corner...the texture alone makes such an amazing statement...what interest it adds! Also love the fact you have a bouquet of tulips on your coffee table...me too. Tulips are my favorite flower!!

    Hi Martina!!!!

    Isn't it funny how our eye goes to that area that we feel never is finished...Something is missing?

    You finished it with a beautiful chair and now you feel that space is done...For now until a couple years go by and you'll be sitting in the room going, 'Maybe I should paint...I don't know. I'd like do do something. It's the way all our husbands say we think. I don't think were fussy as we are always creating...

    LOL, it kills me when I hear a husband say that about the wives.
