Shuffling things around again!!

 Hi there friends...
It's seems like every time I bring a new piece home...things seem to get shuffled all around!
When I bought the antique desk (here) for our family room...the round skirted table that was there had to be moved. 
So I created this seating area on the other side of the room...
Remember the before...
Love the new look so much better!
  First...I removed everything from the wall...then I pulled the wicker chair out of our storage room to use near the table...now I needed something for the wall...
Nothing a little more shuffling & shopping the house couldn't fix...sooooo
I took the Currier & Ives picture I had hanging in the foyer and hung it here...perfect!
 Did you notice my pretty new plaid table topper? 
I had extra fabric left over from the slipcover Linda made me for my ottoman...so I asked her to make me a new topper that hung longer and she did...along with some other goodies too!

    I love your new arrangement! I'm a fan of wicker and skirted tables so that's a great combination. I can SO relate to bringing something new into the house only to find myself moving everything around thereafter! It feels like a curse sometimes. So much work for one little change! LOL!

    Perfect! You have managed to create such a warm and inviting seating area with the furniture, fabrics, colours and accents. I really like how you incorporated plaid into the display. That Currier & Ives pic ties everything together wonderfully. Love your floors too!

    Hi Martina, Same here, something new comes home with me and the shuffle begins. I love your new look. The topper for the table is a great fabric and I love the pillow in the chair. I adore those roos on the pillows with the red checks! I want to see more......

    Martina I am in the process of changing things around my house. I have a new red plaid sofa on order, so I know when it gets here I will shuffling things even more. Those rooster pillows are something I am going to be searching for.
