A little "TWEAKING" in the Master

I know I just showed you guy's my master with the new spring bedding, but after all your help on what color to paint my lamps  I decided to go for it and paint them. I am so glad I did even the hubby noticed them right away and loved how they brightened the space right up! I even added some trim to the lamp shades (burned my thumb with the glue gun in the process, ouch!!) Let's go take a look....

                                               BEFORE

Here's a close up of the AFTER. I sprayed them with heirloom white and distressed them a little just to highlight the detail work on them. I also added a glaze.

                                Much better don't you think.

Added a white duvet at the foot of the bed which I've had for a few years.

Thanks for all your help & have a great weekend!! Can't wait to here from you:)  Martina

The other day when I was in Home Goods and bought the new pillows I also found these beauties! Love the patina on them and all the chippyness ( if that's even a word). Don't know where I'm going to display them just yet but I couldn't pass them up for $7.99 a piece.

Do you need another set of lamps for somewhere else? I have taken urns and pieces like the items you found at HG and made them into lamps.
