A Few Great Bargains!

Made my weekly ( I mean occasional) trip to Home Goods and scored a few great bargains! First I came across this pretty basket with a vase in it. I just saw something similar in Target for $30 mine was only $7.99!! I am using it in my kitchen for now, added a little greenery to it and it makes a pretty vignette on top of my island.





Next was this pretty figurine that reminds me of a Santos statue. I thought she was so pretty I couldn't pass her up and wait till I tell you what I paid for it. It was marked $32 and there was a red clearance tag on it, ya ready........... it was only $5.00!!




                Her new home is on my end table in my living room.

    The basket is so perfect on your island vignette. If it looks like a Santos, isn't it a Santos? Maybe a reproduction, but still. It's lovely. I can't wait to move to the land of Home Goods & other great shopping places!

    I live nearby a Home Goods, and it is a horrible temptation! I try to resist, but rarely do! Love the basket!

    Must.get.to.HomeGoods.pronto. I saw that same vase in a basket at Target but couldn't bring myself to pay for it! Hope they have some left at my local HG! Thanks for sharing :)

    Oh WOW...you scored big this week. I saw that vase at Target, in fact someone out here was raving how reasonable they thought it was, and I thought...NOT I would not pay that...but I would pay 7.99..looks awesome!

    Great finds, Martina! I did go out myself today and got some great thrift finds and a few things from TJ Maxx. I'll be sharing mine later in the week, but I was pretty happy with what I got for the money!

    I have seen your basket vase before and have been very tempted to buy it, but the price put me off. You got a real bargain there! It also looks lovely with a candle in it.     Great bargains, thanks for sharing. I never seem to find things at "rock bottom prices" but I did just purchase a couple of dining chairs with arms and upholstered seats for $40. I plan on revamping and reselling.

    Hi Martina...love your HomeGoods finds! I have that same Santos at home, from HG...at a bargain price too.:-)

    We are at the lake. I am working on our deck and planning a short trip to HomeGoods today. I am wondering if there is anything left! I was by there a couple of times over the weekend, didn't go in. It was packed!

    Great finds! I LOVE a good bargain. I love Home Goods but the closest one is an hour and a half away! That may be a good thing though since I would probably be spending all my grocery money there!

    I got those baskets from HG too! I like them even better than the Target ones. I got two sizes ... love the greenery in yours! I thought about putting utensils in them too!
