Our New Water Feature

 Hi there friends...
Today I'd like to show you the water feature we had added to our pool deck. 
We had this added the end of last summer I just never got around to showing you guys.

My husband loves waterfalls and fountains so we had the mason who built our stone walls and front pillars build this for us.
It was the perfect thing to fill in this empty corner. We love sitting around the pool and hearing the sound of the flowing water...it's so peaceful! 
 
 I added three large Portulaca plants to the ledge on the top. 
They thrive in the full sun.
 Our crane stands watch in between the fountain grass.
Love this ornamental grass! 
I planted three of them around here.










  We're so happy we added this water feature to our pool deck.

    Oh yeah! You know we had a big pond with waterfall at our last house. I'm still trying to talk my husband into it here. Yours looks fabulous. Don't you love to listen to it? We used to get all kinds of pretty birds coming to bathe in the waterfall.

    Oh yes!! We have a small water garden in a large urn. We would love one like yours but we would have a hard time keeping the dogs out.

    Oh that is SO nice! I love waterfalls. It's beautiful. Wish I had my own pool in my backyard. We go to the one in our subdivision, so I guess that's better than nothing. We were just there yesterday.

    Hi Martina,
    Your water fall is beautiful! We had one flowing into our last pool at the house we sold last year. I miss it! the house we have now has a pool but no waterfall. Next summer it is on our list for new landscaping. Yours fits perfectly in your landscape and is so pretty!

    That is so nice. I wish my husband liked waterfalls and the sound of rushing water so he would get my waterfall added to the pond. Let's see, it's only been about 8 years!

    This is so beautiful Martina - and gives me an idea for the back corner of the pool where it's shady and I can't plant anything!!!

    It's beautiful, Martina! I love the sound of a water fountain, too. We had a small pond at our old house with a fountain feature. I used to love sitting on our patio quietly, just listening to it.
