Hi all!!
I've been wanting to replace the cabinet in our Master Bath "potty" room for some time now...and the other day while walking the aisles of Home Goods I spotted this pretty wooden one.
Now this isn't its original color...I painted it in AS Versailles the same color I used on my antique chest here
It's original color was red...we all know I love red... it just wouldn't work in our Master Bath.
Here's the Before...
Love the shutter doors...but they were NOT fun to paint!!
I really like the way it looks in it's new color...I think Versailles is becoming one of my favorite AS colors!
Here's a little peek of it hanging up...
I want to repaint our Master Bath and make some minor changes...then I'll give you a full tour.
Thanks for stopping by!!

It looks so good, Martina. I cannot wait for a full "potty" room tour:)
ReplyDeleteMartina, you had vision to imagine it another color! A lot of people would have just passed it up! It looks great.
ReplyDeleteCute, Martina and great storage. Yes painting louvers is awful.
ReplyDeleteThat's a stylish storage cabinet. I like the color you used on it.
ReplyDeleteI love the cabinet Martina. I'm looking around for one for inside the "water closet" in the master bath. This would be perfect. The pegs are great also.
ReplyDeleteIt came out fantastic, Martina! Love the color & I have painted something similar before....seriously annoying!

It looks great! Wonderful place to hang some dried flowers :)
ReplyDeleteLove it Martina and I bet those shutter doors were a pain to paint! I'll be back to see your newly decorated bath!
ReplyDeleteIt looks pretty. I love AS chalk paint. Shutters are a lot of work to paint and tricky.
ReplyDeleteLookin' good! I feel for you having to paint those slats.

Hi Martina! This is a darling little cabinet and of course you had to paint it! :) You're the painting Queen. :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Perfect, as usual Martina! I would love for you to share on my Chic By You Link Party @ http://chicbytab.blogspot.ca/2014/03/chic-by-you-wednesday-link-party-3.html. Hope to see you there!
ReplyDeleteI love it, Martina! It's neat that you walked by it, red and all, and saw how it could look in your bath. I can't tell if the color is white or light blue...I've never used chalk paint. Just love it.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
That's a really cute cabinet, great find! Love the color you used!

ReplyDeleteLove that color! Great job!
ReplyDeleteawww, this is adorable. I love little cabinets like this. (I got a new one, too)....
ReplyDeleteand the worst thing in the world to paint is SHUTTERS AND SHUTTER DOORS.
Looks like you did a great job, tho.
I love the shutter doors! Just last week I was thinking that if I can't find a full size cabinet to go in our master bath that I would get my husband to build me one using shutters as doors! Great minds....LOL!
ReplyDeleteI agree all those slats would not be fun to paint. I do love the new color though.
ReplyDeleteAwesome job on the cabinet, Martina! Love the color! What a great accent for your "potty room"!
ReplyDeleteAdorable cabinet, Martina, and I like its new color better than the red!
ReplyDeleteMary Alice

ReplyDeleteLooks great Martina! I love that color too. Enjoy your evening, Gail
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it, Martina. That color is amazing. I need to try that one.
ReplyDeleteDid you say a few naughty words (to yourself, of course) when you were painting those shutters? I might, or might not have, when I was doing my last little louvered door project. xo Diana

That is such an adorable cabinet, Martina! I love it. I love red as well but it won't work in my master either. The new color is lovely!

You did a really nice job on the cabinet- what a great find. I like the color a lot! I remember painting louver doors at my parents- very tedious!
