Hurricane Sandy is on it's way!!

Hurricane Sandy is heading our way!! I added a little star to show approximately where we are.

We are expected to get damaging sustained winds of 40 mph gusting to 60 to 70 mph, with major flooding and large area power outages. They already evacuated coastal areas and certain sections of NYC where they are expected to get a tidal surge of 6 to 11 feet!  Schools are already closed for tomorrow.
Please keep all of those in Sandy's path in your thought and prayers.
                                 Stay safe!

  2. Be safe Martina! My son lives in Annapolis, Maryland on the bay, I talked to him today and he said he doesn't see them having school till next week! He's worried about all the trees around his house falling on his roof! I hope it's less than what they are saying, cold and rainy plus windy here.
