Painted Headboard & A Wall of Inspirational Quotes

 Hi there friends...
Remember waaaaaaaay back in September when I asked for your opinions on painting my oldest daughter Mackenzie's bed...well it took me a few months but I finally got around to doing it!
~~~
I decided on painting it AS Pure White to match her dresser.
 Remember the before...
 It looks so much better now that it is FINALLY painted!
~~~
She added a wall of inspirational quotes over her bed...she picked up these little canvas' over the summer and hung them with clear push tacks.
Here's a close up of a few of the sayings...

My favorite part...the distressing!
 Lights on...
The pale grey coverlet and the new black and white pillow I picked up in Home Goods...they go perfect with the colors in her duvet and shams.

When we redid her room two years ago her bed not being painted always made her room seem off to me...not anymore!
~~~
Now if I can only get her to keep her room this neat...teenagers!!!
~~~
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  17. Martina I think you made the right choice!I love the headboard painted white and then distreessed. And your daughter's wall of quotes is a wonderful idea. Her room is so cheerful, just as a teens room should be. And I hear ya on the keeping the room neat part. Teens and tidy rooms rooms don't really go together very well do they?
    Have a wonderful weekend!
