2014 Family Room Mantel

 Hi there friends...
I figured I'd start off the Christmas festivities and show you all my mantel first.
This is my third year hanging a large wreath in this frame...I love the look!!
I  change it up a bit every year...this year I decided to add lights to the wreath.
It looks so pretty at night with our tree.

I'm so glad I found the mate to my ginger jar!
I added a stick of red berries and a bunch of real holly to them both.
I love holly!

I changed the ribbon this year to this pretty burlap Christmas ribbon I found in a local shop.
I loved the script on it.
Do you like changing the look of your mantel every year too?
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  18. Hi Martina,
I just love the look of wreaths hanging in mirrors, and yours looks especially pretty with the lights and that pretty ribbon. I'm all finished with our mantel so I spent today working on the porch!

  19. Martina, your mantel is so elegant! I really like the lights added to the wreath. Our mantel is a little bit similar with a wreath in a frame. Maybe I got the great idea from you. :)

  30. Very pretty Martina. I have a huge roll script ribbon. I'm so goofy, Il never use it because I don't want to use it up. So sad,LOL. Your mantle is so pretty.

I miss having Holly to cuz for Christmas. The hubby doesn't want it again

  31. Your mantel does look pretty, and I too like the wreath inside the frame. I have Christmas stuff from one end of the Charmer to the other. I'm decorating all the rooms at the same time..don't think that was a good idea. With all the decorating we do I wish the season lasted longer:-{ Can't wait to see more!

  33. Oh, I love the wreath in the vintage frame. Our mantel is still unfinished about 3 years later lol. We really need to get busy on it. I do enjoy using our other Christmas decor in different ways each year though.

  34. I love the wreath hung in the frame. I'm not complaining, but since my husband paints for a living, we always have paintings on the wall and I can't do the frame thing.

    Everything looks beautiful and welcoming.
