Basket, Bottles, & Books

Well the kids went back to school today and the house is so quite! I miss them:(
I played around this weekend with a new vignette for the coffee table in my living room.
A new basket from Pottery Barn filled with the other demijohn I recently purchased along with some of my decorating books, a vintage bottle my mom gave me..or should I say I begged her for;)) and a little touch of greenery to fill an empty spot.

This basket is made so nicely and it's very sturdy. It's part of their Mendoza collection. I have quite a few baskets from PB and have been very happy with the quality.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  7. Martina, what a beautiful vignette! The basket is really gorgeous! The demijohn looks so pretty in it! I remember the days of the kids going back to school. I had three little ones and the house was so quite and I had so much time on my hands that I didn't even know what to do with myself! :)

  22. I love the warmth of your arrangements on your coffee table with all the different textures. And you're going to be seeing the same decorating book someday when I show you my coffee table fall vignette! Does that ever happen to you...you blog about something and see something similar on another blog around the same time?

  23. I love that combination you put together! I like how things looked grouped togther in a basket. Makes for easier dusting too! Ha! I know how you feel when the kids go back to school. It takes some getting used to when the house is suddenly "still"!
