A simple Fall Mantle

 I kept my mantle very simple this year. Added just enough to give it the look of the season.
 I love my potted wheat and didn't want to take them down, so I just worked around them.
   
 All I used was a garland of fall colored leaves and some pumpkins that I had on hand.

 After looking at for a few days, I just felt something was missing. 
 That's it! I added one more natural element, a birds nest that I forgot I had. Stuck the little pumpkin in it, and we're done!
          There ya have it, my fall mantle 2012.

    It looks so pretty! Your painting above the mantel fits in perfectly this time of year too. The wheat captures the Fall season very well. Glad you kept it up there.

    I love the simplicity of this...nice and clean and neat! Something that caught my eye are the books displayed with the spines to the back - I like the look of that!
