Tour of Mom's Apartment~ Part 2

Most of you know by now that my mom lives with us. We had a full walkout above ground basement that we made into a mother/daughter apt for my mom after my dad passed away and she sold their home. Back in October I gave you a tour of her bedroom which you can see here. Right before Christmas she went and ordered new furniture for her living room from Ethan Allen (love that store)! The furniture arrived and she put her room back together so now I can finally give you Part 2.
 She bought a new couch and chairs, rug and small accent table. The coffee table and pie table in between the red chairs she bought from Ethan Allen 45 years ago when they first got married.
 This painting also came from their and is from back then too. Some things never go out of style. I love this painting!
 Here is the new little accent table.
 This corner hutch my was made by my dad and used to be in their dining room.
 Love Love her new chairs and ottoman! You will notice she is a big hummel collector.

    I know she must be so proud of her new furniture. It is so pretty! Ethan Allen makes such good quality furniture too. I think that is so nice that you give her her own apartment in your home. Looking forward to seeing part 3.

    My Mom did the same thing when she moved from Manitoba to Ontario.
    Kept some keepsakes and bought new furniture.

    Your mom's apartment is lovely with her new pieces of furniture. It all looks very cozy, and I'm sure she is happy to be living with you. We built my mom an apartment in our back yard about 2 years ago. She feels very safe and secure in it.

    Martina, Your mom's apartment is so pretty and feminine. Is the little table between the red chairs a 'cricket table'? It looks like one my aunt has from Ethan Allen and she's had it for-eva. It so perfect for a small space. Love Ethan Allen furniture. Looking forward to seeing the rest of her apartment.

    Your mom's living room is beautiful! Do I see red and turquoise? Very pretty tables and the corner cabinet is wonderful. It must make her so happy to have something that your dad made there with her.

    It's great to have an apartment for your mom right down stairs. Her new Ethan Allen furniture is great. My mom has a sofa from Ethan Allen that is more than 30 years old and still looks great.
